Their Resting Homes, Our Duty to Remember

I posted some of these photos on FB…and nobody made any comment, and I wondered (for a short time ) if cemeteries depress most people, if it is the thought of our own death that lurks back at us from photos alone?…..

I find peace in such places….a moment to remember; stories from the past come alive and I imagine that “they” know I am around, visiting them, talking to them, telling them my own stories.

Then….I go home…they remain at their homes. Perhaps they smile.
